Lord do you love me?

I received this e-mail today that I thought I needed to share. We often find ourselves in the midst of assault on our faith and find ourselves asking "...Jesus, if you hear me, if you love me, I need to hear from you."

This is a dangerous place to walk. Please, if you are feeling this way I hope that this brief testimony will remind you that He does in fact love us.

"In Oct of 2008 I was on a recruiting trip trying to gather teachers willing to come to a little known corner of my state for work. I was hurting in many ways. My leg hurt as I needed a knee replacement and I was walking with a cane. My back hurt, I was short of breath and sure that I was at 61 useless and not wanted. As a sat in the big room I had a pity party for one. I did
not think anyone would come to the table that day and I would be alone and blue all day. I said a little prayer to Jesus, that if he loved me, please, send someone to my table. Within five minutes one of the other presenters came over and said, "I hired you once." I did not recognize the man but said that I had not moved around much in by 38 years in education. He said that
he had hired me many years ago to do an in-service program for him. I remembered going to that little town in the north west of our state. He asked where I was working and what I did. I told him. He then asked if I would like to move closer to home. I said that I was an expensive employee and I couldn't move for less pay. A month or so later he asked me to come and interview for a position with his group. He offered me $4000. more than I make. He offered to pay mileage to and from my job, pay for health insurance and retirement. I have looked at the school where I'll be and I thank God for sending that man to my table on that day. Now I can live at home and be with family every evening. God is really good all the time and has special plans for us. Thank you God for your blessings." -- anonymous.

Thank you for your time to read this testimony. I hope it reminds you of the Lords love. Who knows if the next time the Lord tells you to go up and talk to someone you might just be the answer to someone's prayer. The sad reality is that if you have ever prayed this and it seemed like the Lord did not answer perhaps it was because the one He wanted to use to answer your prayer was disobedient to His call. Will you respond when the Lords calls you into action?

-- Blessings
